The pins in my shop are used by real military forces, nothing is invented
The pins are made of high quality enamel metal
The pin is made of enamelled metal and measures 2 x 2.5 cm
The pin depicts what is called Blood China or Blood Chit, the closest translation is blood pact or blood pawn. In practice, the military (especially pilots) allied with the Chinese sewed on their jackets or kept on them a scarf, a parchment, a sign of recognition with the designs of the allied flag and the text written in Chinese and sometimes more languages so that if they were shot down or fell in enemy territory they could with this symbol get assistance from Chinese soldiers or civilians, a sort of passport of recognition. This symbol was used mostly in the Second World War, in particular by Americans and British
