The Aermacchi MB-339 is a two-seater advanced training and light tactical support single-engine jet aircraft produced by the Italian company Aermacchi (now AleniaAermacchi) since the seventies and mainly supplied to the Italian Air Force. The Frecce Tricolori, whose full name is National Aerobatic Team, constituting the 313rd Acrobatic Training Group, are the national aerobatic team (PAN) of the Italian Air Force, born in 1961 following the decision of the Italian Air Force to create a group permanent for the collective aerobatic training of its pilots.
