Moon Knight, whose real name is Marc Spector, is a fictional comic book character battling the Infernals. Created by Doug Moench (text) and Don Perlin (art) published by Marvel Comics. It appears for the first time (in a two-part story) on the pages of Werewolf by Night (first series) n. 32 (August 1975).

The IGN website placed the character at 89th position in the ranking of the hundred greatest heroes in comic history.

In Italian it was initially presented with the name Lunar.

Marc Spector used three fake names to keep from revealing his true identity: Jake Lockley, Steven Grant and Yitzak Topol.
