The Specialist School of the Military Air Force of Caserta, has its historical roots since the constitutive origins of the Armed Force when, alongside the need to train pilots, there was the need to train the specialists of the aircraft. Its initial institutional activity was located at the airports of Capua and later on that of Capodichino where, until the eve of the 2nd World War, specialized airplane technicians as well as personnel belonging to the categories of photographers, gunsmiths, radioelectricists and aerologists were trained.
